This Varroa floor is made from cedar with a mesh screen. Examine this floor carefully and you will see it is not just pieces of wood nailed or screwed together, it is much more than that.

We use real joints, machined and assembled by our own craftsmen in our factory.

This product has been the floor style of choice since varroa arrived, it is an aid used in the monitoring of varroa levels. This is largely the dead varroa population that fall from the bees.

Tip:-Using a black permanent marker pen draw lines on the floor approximately 50mm apart, this will help in the counting of mites. You can make it even easier by drawing squares also by using our sticky boards DC-681 for national it will need cutting to size.
