rugged piece of kit

Not pretty but who cares it's a strong stand for almost 1/2 the price of similar stands offered elsewhere. Either use preservative, stain or paint to suit your self. Just the job!

Not good balance

one leg seems shorter than the other 3. This is my second stand from same provider. I can say the first one is better make and wood feels better.
