Everything turned up on time, actually earlier than expected. Easy to put together and the addition of the runners was a nice addition. Perhaps some instructions would have been a bonus, however, a little thought and wollah! Not too difficult!

We have a few of these hives now! However this one is that little bit more special as it is for our lads 8th birthday. I would say this is a really good starter hive for pine, the young man can paint his style on the hive and really take that next step into beekeeping.

All went together pretty easy (I used to be a Carpenter) however, it would have been easier if there were instructions with the delivery.
I figured it out and found another manufacturer on you tube. A Pain when the Wifi or 4G doesn't work in my workshop!
So I am pleased with the end product but instructions would have made my life a lot easier.

Great hive easy assembled only down fall a super missing but they are going to send it out

it is what it is. a hive that will hold bees .the pine boxes are ok and fit together reasonably well,a little out here and there but nothing serious. The roof and floor are a not the best quality but the frames and foundation are as good as any i've bought from other suppliers . puzzling why no steel frame runners as i would expect a "complete beehive" to have some but ,having read the original offer ,runners were not listed .Had to wait for order but this was specified to some degree.No reply when i questioned the runner situation. To be fair, having given the hive two coats of warm wax/tutpentine and linseed oil mix it looks good and ,having been out on a stand through a few days of torrential rain ,no water ingress whatsoever .like a ducks back. All in all ,given that you get frames and foundation, a good deal and would probably buy again. runners would turn probably into definitely.
